Police Seek Community's Help

Police are hoping a public appeal may lead to further information after significant damage was reported to a number of vehicles in an Albury carpark.

Appealing on the Murray River Police District Facebook page, police are asking anyone who may have information to come forward.

The post reads:

Police are appealing for help from the public after vehicles were maliciously damaged in a carpark in Albury earlier this month.

Between 6.20pm and 7pm on Thursday 11 June 2020, more than seven vehicles that were parked near an appliance store sustained significant damage.

The incidents were reported to police and an investigation commenced by officers from Murray River Police District.

As investigations continue, police are asking anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident to come forward as they may be able to assist with inquiries.

The incidents took place in the vicinity of Young Street and Hume Street, Albury.
