The announcement that Elton John will be making a concert appearance at All Saints Estate in Wahgunyah in 2020 makes it one of 15 locations around Australia for his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour.

It will be a three concert "A Day On The Green" event which is considered to be the biggest concert to come to the North East and Border ever.

Promoter Michael Newton says it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, and for people who have seen Elton before they will want to go and if you haven't seen Elton before, you should go. I hope people have a really good time and I hope they behave themselves".

Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster at 9am Friday February 8th for "Day on the Green Members" and February 15th for the general public.

Tickets and range from $129.90 plus booking fees and $399.90.
