Man pulls out chainsaw during road rage brawl
A man has been charged over a road rage incident in Sydney’s south-west, where he allegedly pulled a chainsaw out of his car.
The 25-year-old is accused of punching a 34-year-old driver through an open window before a brawl broke out in peak hour on The Horseley Drive in the Sydney suburb of Fairfield.
The entire incident was captured on dash cam and appeared to be over when the man was restrained by onlookers.
But, when they let him go, he allegedly went to his vehicle and pulled out a chainsaw.
Bystanders filmed the man walking up and down the busy road allegedly threatening people with the running chainsaw.
The man was arrested at Fairfield Police Station at about 8.30pm.
He’s been charged with affray and armed with intent to commit indictable offence.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in court next month.
