Kmart Listed As New Wangaratta Exposure Site

Kmart Wangaratta has now been listed as a new Wangaratta exposure site, added to the DHHS website at 2.44pm Wednesday.

Officials say a case attended Kmart on Sunday September 19 between 12.00 and 12.40pm. Some individuals will be Tier 1 contacts according to Victorian Government Health Officials, and will therefore need to quarantine for 14 days, regardless of the outcome of a COVID test. Officials will contact those people regarded close contacts privately.

Anyone else who attended Kmart during the listed date and timeare considered Tier 2 contacts and should seek a COVID test immediately and isolate until receiving a negative result.

Kmart becomes the 14th exposure site listed for Wangaratta, after a man tested positive to COVID-19 on Monday night. He was transferred to hospital in Melbourne. There have been 11 new exposure sites added in the last 48 hours.

Vincent Road Testing Clinic - open 8.30am until late
