Update on Wang Bike Jumps

The venue for a community consultation session on the future of Wangaratta’s bike tracks has had to be changed to meet the demand of locals wanting to have their say.

The session will now take place at the Rovers Football Netball Club function centre from 4pm Friday, with Nachos and hot food to be provided.

The meeting brings an opportunity for locals to talk to council and “help select new locations and tracks.”

The meeting will mark just over a week since council bulldozed the jump track near the Torryong swing bridge last week, citing litter and tree damage, and an Instagram account from teens was created with this post.
