Police Appeal For Information On Wodonga Stabbing Incident

Police are appealing for witnesses or footage of a stabbing that happened in Wodonga in June.

A man was stabbed on the Brockley Street Overpass at about 8.15pm on the 5th of June.

The man received minor wounds when he was attacked.

Detective Senior Sergeant Garry Barton says charges have been laid, but they are looking for more information.

"Any assault is serious. Especially with weapons like knives. You can be millimeters away from death at anytime."

"We think the weapon in this instance was a box cutter. We're after anyone with any information, who may have seen something to please call crime stoppers or the Wodonga Police Station."
