Sustainable Living Forum held in Yackandandah
There will be a forum held in Yackandandah on Thursday May 17th, with the all familiar theme in the region, concerning more affordable and energy efficient housing.
The Indigo Shire is well known for it’s sustainable living, which will again be reinforced with the housing energy forum.
Spokesperson Cheryl Graham is of the opinion that shared living may be a solution, where facilities such as gardens, barbecues and playgrounds are shared by residents.
Ms. Graham would like to see anyone who is investigating alternatives. Planners and architects will be in attendance, and there will be time allowed at the end for a panel discussion
People who are interested are invited to come along to Yackandandah hall between 7pm and 9.30pm.
